Short answer
This stream is usually for certain graduates with an associate degree, diploma or trade qualification who nominate an eligible skilled occupation.
You need to choose this stream when you apply if it is the stream you want to use. It was previously called the Graduate Work stream before 1 July 2024.
You generally need to meet the 485 study requirement within the required time before applying, and the qualification and nominated occupation need to fit the stream rules.
Skills assessment evidence can be critical. If the assessment is missing, expired, based on the wrong qualification or not suitable for the nominated occupation, the application may fail.
