Sometimes. A bridging visa can come back into effect if it only stopped being in effect because another visa came into effect and the bridging visa period has not ended.
You can hold a bridging visa during its visa period even when it is not in effect. If it stopped being in effect because another visa came into effect, it may reactivate later if you no longer hold a substantive visa and do not hold a more beneficial bridging visa.
This does not apply every time a bridging visa ceases. If the bridging visa ceases because of another cessation event, such as final determination of the associated visa application or departure from Australia while the bridging visa is in effect, it usually cannot reactivate.
If a person holds more than one bridging visa, the rules decide which one is more beneficial. Work rights can be important when comparing Bridging A, B and C visas.
